Think Pharmacy First, Let your local pharmacist be your health provider.
The Future of Healthcare Is Personal, Accessible, and Led by Pharmacy
We are entering a new era, one where individuals can take control of their own health, assess their wellbeing, and access diagnostic services without the long delays that have become all too common. No more waiting weeks to see a GP. No more enduring up to six weeks for essential blood test results. The future is faster, smarter, and more patient-focused.
Pharmacy is at the heart of this transformation.
By thinking Pharmacy First, we empower local pharmacists to become the first point of clinical contact—able to test, treat, or transfer patients as needed. Equipped with advanced point-of-care technology, pharmacists can now offer timely, accurate blood testing and clinical insights within minutes, right from the pharmacy.
This is not just a concept—it’s a working model, Imperial Diagnostix Ltd (IDL), in collaboration with the National Pharmacy Association (NPA), has developed a complete solution that enables independent community pharmacies to deliver frontline diagnostic services. From fertility and women’s health to thyroid, hormone, diabetes, cardiovascular risk and more, IDL’s platform supports a wide range of clinical needs.
Together, we are reshaping primary care access—reducing pressure on GP surgeries, improving early detection and intervention, and most importantly, putting patients back in charge of their own health.
The solution is here. The time is now. Let pharmacy lead the way.

Imperial Diagnostix Ltd: Pioneering Point-of-Care Diagnostics in Community Pharmacy
Imperial Diagnostix Ltd (IDL) is a Point-of-Care Diagnostics company on a mission to bring fast, accessible diagnostics to the high street, starting with community pharmacies.
With over four years of dedicated research, development, and testing in this rapidly evolving sector, IDL has travelled the globe, attended leading international expos, and worked with top manufacturers to identify the most reliable, high-performing diagnostic technologies available. This deep market insight places IDL at the forefront of the Point-of-Care Testing (PoCT) movement in the UK.
Now, in partnership with the National Pharmacy Association (NPA), IDL is launching a nationwide initiative, initially to pharmacies within the M25 and The Home Counties, to transform the role of the pharmacy, turning it into the community’s first port of call for diagnostics and early-stage health management.
This initiative allows pharmacies to offer quick, affordable testing for a wide range of conditions. Where appropriate, pharmacists can act immediately: issuing prescriptions (if they are prescribers), referring patients to their GP, or in urgent cases, navigating them to A&E.
Help us bring diagnostics to the high street. Let’s make healthcare more accessible, reduce unnecessary delays, and relieve pressure on overstretched GP services, so that treatable conditions are addressed in days and not weeks..
